Take him off the monitor???!!!!!

I saw my GP today and he reckons I should take Damien off the apnoea monitor I'm sorry, but am I blowing smoke about his apnoea's or is this GP making about as much sense as sausage and ice cream?!

Just keep him on it hun, this doc isnt the one sitting at night worrying himself sick and if keeping the moniter makes you feel even a wee bit better and keeps a closer eye on your baby then just you do it.

I'd leave him on it for your peace of mind if nothing else.

He is obviously still having trouble with his breathing so why on earth would they tell you to take him off it?

Oh i see! my little sister was on one of them when she was a baby shehad a heart murmer(sp?) and stopped breathing loads of times. Im more than sure she had to be on the moniter till she was 1 then they gave them something else is was a sensor mat (i had one for adele it was made by angel care) if she stopped moving for more than 20 secs the alarm would go off. Now shes 14 he heart is fine but she still goes into yorkhill once a year just to be checked over.
