Table Cloths?????????

Hi guys.....im just wondering if any of you have any fantastic ideas for table cloths?
We get married in 4 weeks and we have 14 tressel tables to make look pretty as our reception is in a village hall and we dont have any table cloths.
To hire they seem to be about £8 each, we have thought about using cream single flat bed sheets, but cant find any less than £5 each (this is the perfect size as they are 6ft tables)
Im silly, this is an expense we didnt expect!!!!
we could go to about £50 to do the cloths. Any ideas would be appriecated, i know there are some inavitive peeps amongst you!!!
Sorry i havent been around, this wedding and work and Charlie take up all my time nowadays!!! xxxxx

Do you know anyone handy with a sewing machine so you could buy you own material & straighten up the edges?
