Hi,
My MIL has been diagnosed with TB and we've been a bit worried as there are quite serious implications for me and baby if we've picked it up too. Thing is, OH has put a complete ban on us going anywhere near MIL til we find out all the facts and she is sooooooo upset, has hardly stopped crying. What would you do, the risks as far as I know from what I've read are probably quite low but I've never had the jab?
Thanks :)

I personally would wait until i know all the facts from a doctor about the risks hun. EVen a low risk would be enough for me in all honesty.
I hope your MIL is ok, but im sure she will understand once she has calmed a little the reasons why your OH has said it to protect you and baby.

Take care

could u make an appointment with ur GP and find out the facts that way

my nana died of tb on the knee and we all had to go for chest x rays every 6 months - no one had contracted it including my neice who was a baby, but the risks must be real to do xrays for so long.

I woudl avoid seeing her if it was me.
