Hiya, Just wondering if anyone might be able to help. I am 10+5 wks with my third pregnancy, and this feels so different from my last two. I am constantly nauseous and hungry but cant decide what to eat. I have completely gone off coffee ( I used to love it but the thought makes me want to be sick), my boobs have doubled in size, I'm sure I can feel my uterus just above my pubic bone and I swear that i have felt movements. Everyone I have said this to says I am mad but my nan had twins and this pregnancy is so very different from my last two. I was just wondering if any of you could tell me how you felt in early pregnancy and did you eel any early movements? it's just like bubbles and normally if I am wearing something pressing on my belly. Please help, the thought is driving me mad!!!!

maybe it feels different from your other two because maybe your having a little boy this time (i see you already have two girlies). :D

I started to feel bubble like movements at 15 weeks and im convinced im having a boy :) . so perhaps if you have a boy you feel movements earlier.

Or it could just be that you are in fact having twins as they are in your family (and usually skip a generation) so looks like your chances of having them maybe higher.

Good luck finding out. :D

Hi

Im not sure what it feels like . Do you have your ultrasound soon?
Good luck.

Hiya, I have a scan on thursday but am very impatient!! it's so easy to speculate, I know I need to wait but wondered what other people who are carrying twins, symptoms are like
Thank you for your replies!

hi im not sure as never had twins but i wanted to wish you luck for the ultrasound, and maybe like littel red said its a boy this time.

would you like to have twins?

Hi!

I think it's very hard to say as each pregnancy is very different in so many ways.

It is true that twins run in families. If your nan is a non identical twin then this does increase your chances and so does each subsequent pregnancy.

My twin history comes from my nan, she is a twin too.

However as far as symptoms go, I am finding this pregnancy so much harder than my twins, didn't feel sick at all really with them and didn't eat as much as I do now!

Like other people have stated it may be the case this time that you are carrying a boy.. or simply that we do grow a lot quicker each subsequent pg.

With twinnies I didn't feel anything until around 17 weeks and I've felt this lo earlier.

You have to remember though aswell that although there may be two in there, they are smaller and I would guess you would be unlikely to feel them yet.

Whatever the outcome, good luck and I hope you get the outcome you are hoping for.

let us know how you get on! :D

Good luck with your scan on thursday Ellie, i've got my 20 week scan on wednesday :cheer: im getting impatient too!

let us know how it goes and if you are having twinnies. :D

Thank you everyone! I found out that my nans twins were non identical but also that her sister had twins, also non identical, I didn't know about that set!! I would be concerned about how I would manage but you jus cope if you ave to don't you?
Good luck for your scan too Red, will let you all know how I get on
xx
