Swing set: using the gforce to help baby drop more!

Hi ladies as you know by now I am desperate to go into labour naturally, I've no idea if this will work but it's a last ditch effort on my part. Some of the pains I've had apparently are good signs? Pelvic and back ache, been to the bath room 3 times for no 2 and loads of pressure in my bum so I'm hoping using the swings to help will maybe give him that little push of get out haha. I can now feel my bump tighten as after my sweep it was but I couldn't tell my friend actually felt my bump go rock hard and go kinda rectangle shape and I lost the biggest piece of plug so far it was at least the size of my hand (gross sorry) anyone else tried using swings to help things along? You can tell I am pretty much desperate now xxx

Omg i have to laugh at the thought of this! Id never of thought of doing this but it could well work! Lol. I know people that have been on trampolines that sent them in to labour! X

I did swings, trampoline and bouncy castle. Nothing worked x

Well I tried nothing happened. Had sex again though haha lost more plug but only had pelvic pains and niggly back ache I give up now I'll be induced soon and then he'll be here regardless if he wants to or not. At least I can say I tried absolutely everything to get him out xxx

Thanks doll eyes how're you and the little miss? I hope your both doing well looks like neither of us had our babies on time!
I have had a lovely day out today went to a national trust park with my friend and her little boy and did a ton of walking climbing yes I played on the activity stuff with him haha and I am ready for a kip! But really enjoyed it had such a fun day and hubby is doing my toe nails later with a foot rub (he's very good) had a bath and back rub and I'm very chilled now xxx

We're good after a stay in the scbu for Scarlett we had a bit of a traumatic birth with my pre eclampsia. So I'm just getting used to beong a mum, hard work! But my family and hubby have been great. Really hope its not much longer for you! Will be looking for your birth announcement xx

Thanks Hun, glad your both doing well. I read your labour thread I know it wasn't the best for you both but as long as everything's okay that's all that matters. I'm being induced tomorrow so fingers crossed he is ready as I am now he's had more than enough time to chub up in there haha just doing my last few bits of house work today before tomorrow as we're in at 8:30am which hubby moaned about I was pretty annoyed at him for it cheeky git but it's tough luck he said he wanted a lie in well I'd love one too but I don't sleep properly anyway xxx

Haha men are terrible they really don't engage their brain before speaking. Yeah she's here safe and I'm being monitored for my blood pressure so its all that matters. Can't wait to see how big your little boy is going to be, he must be so comfortable in there! Xx

Well I'm in slow labour very irregular contractions tightenings midwife said to keep an eye on them and ring if they get intense so I'm a really happy camper haha having my hair done in half an hour too I know it's daft cause I'll look awful afterwards but hey last day of pampering and cleaning before my little guy is here I may go tonight wooop! I can't wait to just see him finally I a o glad your both doing good Hun and I can't wait to update you all! This forum and the ladies have been fantastic I couldn't of asked for better support xxx

I had 2 sweeps, ate pinapple, had sex, bounced on my ball, ate curries, walked, painted a house, daily cleaning, working... I still went 13 days overdue and he was born on the 14th day.

Loosing plug is a good sign though, good luck.

Well I've scrubbed the kitchen and living room. They are getting more painful but I'm keeping an eye on them not too horrific yet but I was so shocked I just thought it was a nasty braxton haha had my hair done doing my nails shortly and then doing dinner xxx
