Swim costumes?!?!

Ok I don't understand swimming costumes with the swim
Nappies built in? Are you meant to not put a nappy on too? Because am sure if you didn't there would be poo everywhere? I don't get it??

You have to buy a swim nappy and swim suit. They wear both. Swim suits won't hold in anything on their own. Hope this helps Hun.xx

So just like the disposable ones like 'little swimmers'? What about the costumes that don't have a swim nappy built in? Will the little swimmers not work? Thanks

I've bought little swimmers and a swim suit. That's what I'll be using. No built swim nappy bit so hoping it'll work. Hopefully someone who has taken their LO swimming will respond as I've not yet taken josh out. Just going by what I've been told.

We used little swimmers for Ben and then a normal costume over the top. To start with you'll only be im pool $or a short time. But Ben loved it - might take Joe next week for the first time

Never bothered using anything over the top just the little swimmers.

I used a reusable swim nappy and still put a costume over the top but will be buying a costume with a built in nappy next time i get one.

I use the little swimmers nappies and put her costume over the top. The costume has a swim nappy but quite frankly it would not hold anything in and it is pointless. I only chose that one as I liked the colour!

We are starting water babies in a couple of weeks and have got to wear a disposable and a 'happy nappy' for the lessons. We will put her costume over the top as I think as she as a girl she needs her top covered up!!!
