Swelling and Protien

Morning ladies, well I have finally made it to the third trimester...yey!!! Not all plain sailing and wondered if i could pick your brains...

On Thurs night i noticed swelling in my hands and feet, really quite bad, difficult to type or flex my feet etc so on Fri am i went to the doctor to get my blood pressure checked. Well BP was fine but there was a trace on protien in my urine. The doctor said if it continues or gets worse then go to delivery suite.

I hate making a fuss and don't want to go in if I don't need to, thing is the swelling isn't going down even after rest and sleep so I really don't know what to do. No other symptoms ie headaches etc

Any thoughts?? Thanks x
