Sweet smelling discharge (tmi)

Please forgive me for putting this here - but I'm hoping since you have all have babies you may be able to help me. My full post is in tri 3, but hoping ladies in here might be able to help.

I've noticed the last couple of days that discharge is smelling really sweet - hasn't seemed to increased though, just the smell.

Is it normal? I had a midwife apt in which urine was checked 3 days ago, so if I had an infection would it have been picked up then? I don't really want to call midwife and go in to embarrassingly be told I'm leaking urine or something. I'm 36 weeks tomorrow.

amniotic fluid smells quite sweet i would call maternitu ward hun it really is better to be safe than sorry xx

Yeah think I will end up calling them to put my mind at rest. Gonna give it a couple of hours until the hubby home and then see how things are - if they are the same ill give them a call.

Phoned midwife said nothing to worry about as I'm not noticeably leaking. Have midwife apt on Tuesday so if I still notice the smell I'll tell her then. Thanks for the replies though ladies x

I never got to smell my waters! I'd give them a ring just to be on the safe side xx
