Sweeps

Hi all, just wanted some feedback about sweeps. I'm 39 weeks pregnant with baby 5 and having a sweep this afternoon. Has anyone had one that's worked? Anyone any good sweep experiences?! Xx

I had one with my DD and later on I started having contractions and we also DTD with OH and I gave birth that night. It turned out to be a breach baby and I had a CS but I was in labor and all was going well until she was found breach. Sweeps can work but I wouldn't discount the effect of the DTD either.

I had on at 40+5 with my 2nd she noticed that I was 5cm dilated she told me i'd give birth that night but it was 2 days later. It was kinda like a smear crampy after xx

Hello, I had one at 2pm today so I will let you know. Just about to go to bed as tired. With my son had a sweep am then went to bed and plug/waters went at 10.30 x

I had a sweep with my son and I went into labour the same day! Fingers crossed for you xxx
