Sweeps done at home

I wondered if anyone here has had a sweep performed at home and where in the home this is normally done? Sofa, bed, floor?! Having never had one before just curious

I had 4 sweeps.. 3 were at home. They tend to ask would you like it done here or on a bed?.. One midwife suggested the sofa. Another one suggested my bed as she could get deeper (tmi) and could perform a better one.

Its up to you really, but I found the bed better, probably have to put a pillow under bum as mattresses push u down. x

I have been wondering about this too. I'm due Christmas Eve and midwife will be coming round and offering me a sweep if there is no sign of baby by then. I think I would opt for bed, I would probably feel a bit strange on the sofa! x
