sweep

bit early for tri 3 but can anyone tell me what a sweep is? I have heard mixed things. and can anyone tell me if it is painful? (who obviously has had it or know someone who has had it) xxx

im having one next thur never had one b4 with my other children so im really nervous any advise on here ladies

My mf said I would have had one or two the last time I was pregnant ( I ended up being induced), but I honestly can't rememeber. Hopefully that means it's not painful or anything otherwise surely I would remmeber getting it! I have one booked for next wednesday so I will let you know what it's like.. lovely!
Oh and itws where she puts her fingers up your foof and sweeps the membranes away from the cervix to help move the labour along or something like that. There is probably someone on here that can explain it better than that coz I'm pretty rubbish.. haha.
