Had two sweeps as one was by a student, wasn't as bad as I thought just uncomfortable really? They were really nice saying its up to me and I didn't have to have one if I didn't want to.
Induction booked for wed at 6pm but lets hope something happens before then

Oh cool!!!!! *prays for a student lol*

And you have an end in sight hun, that must be a weight off your mind. Fx the sweeps kick things off for you. Did she say how dilated you are? xxxxxxxxxx

Glad it wasn't as bad as you expected, I am not booked in for a sweep until 40 weeks. As BB says you know that you will definately have baby by Wednesday either way :-) xxx

Doubt will be wed as I won't get induced till 6pm and can take 24 hours if it works that way?
I'm 2cm dilated

At least you are 2cm dilated hun - means there is a good chance the sweep will work - plus you have two so double the chance ;-)

I had a 2nd failed sweep this morning she couldn't even reach my cervix!! My induction is booked for Easter Sunday but I just hope I go into labour naturally this week

Come on stubborn little babies us mummies want to meet you :-)
Xx

My midwife said if you are dilated and they can break your waters they will do that - if they can't break the waters you have the pessery for 24hrs first.

Not sure if they do it differently elsewhere? Xx

It's a tablet they put up your foof

2cm??? wow and you thought nothing was happening....you have a stealth cervix lol

Just shows you never know whats happenning up there! ha
My OH cracked me up the other day, he said to me because he is engaged if I look up your foof will I be able to see his head?
Men they are so funny at times xxxx

They said I'm 2/5ths engaged also so that's good only two little bits to drop down :-)

Babies don't have to be engaged at all hun to come flying out like rockets lol. I reckon you'll have baby within a few days

Is anyone else scared when they actually think 'Im going to be a mum' I just dont think I still believe it plus we are moving house on saturday!! I dont feel ready yet xx

I'm not scared of being a mum it's what I have to do to become a mum that's starting to worry me lol. I raised my godson til he was 2 and this time I won't have to give baby back to anyone :D

Yeah I think it's scary because it's forever and someone depending on you forever! Your life changes and you cannot do what you used to do. But it's scary in a good way I think :-)

not yet no, just have some period type aches but thats to be expected, really tired though and seriously thinking about going to bed which isn't like me!

May be your body resting up for the big event! xxx Keep us informed :-)
