Going for a sweep this afternoon! UPDATE-WHAT A LET DOWN!!

Hi all! hope your all ok. Just wanted to let you all know that i have the midwife at 3pm today and as im now 2 days overdue i should be getting a sweep done, really nervous! im hoping it works just because im very uncomftable now and so ready to meet this little one xx

Update- so went to the midwife and everything fine with me and baby so thats good news.... bad news is that they dont do sweeps here anymore until your 10 days over so im booked in for a week today! really thought something might get started, oh well hopefully something will have happened before then

I remember having my sweep on the 18th June which for me was uncomfatable and then my labour starting on the 21st at 40+5.
Wether it is because of the sweep I don't know???

Dont do sweeps till ten days overdue

Why???

It would not harm the baby as baby already full term so what are they on about.

I would ask to see a consultant at the hospital.
Do not stand got that hunits a load of rubbish.
