i wasnt interested in watching it before it came on. i figured i had seen too many films like it but im really enjoying it now because it is believable. my dad and i were bickerig about it the other day. he said because 10% of the population survived they would be far more people about. i said that he hadnt taken into account the number of people that die of something else or commit suicide after finding their entire family dead. what does everyone else think? and what do you think really happened to abbie? why is she still alive? oooh i cant wait til next weeks
OK this was a 2 hour discussion in my family - there would be a loooooooot more people about - in my small street you would expect to have around 20 people surviving, multiply that by 20 for my little estate and so on. London (and other big cities) would actually still be quite busy.
And another point, why ...when people died so suddenly they were in their cars on the streets.....were the motorways completely empty?
why when they were 'shopping' in the supermarket were they picking up A can of something? pick up the tray..it's free!
and following on from that...NETTO????? you have all the shops in the country to go to, and you go to NETTO??????
I'd be straight in Waitrose, M&S, Sainsbury's and Monsoon (well you have to have a little luxury....)
we had the same discussion about how many would survive and like i said, if it were me surviving when my family had just all died, i've had probably killed myself!
but the others i cant answer. will HAVE to watch it tonight as more research for the answer to these questions hehe
