Surrey nurseries - any Surrey mom here?

Hey all,

I am still TTC. But figuring out the finances once the LO is around. Looks like I live in one of the most expensive areas in UK - Surrey! Is there any mom from Surrey here? If so, do you know any alternative to the £57.50 a day nurseries around? Thanks much!

we're in surrey and have a childminder for 50 a day, 10 hours, food included

That sounds better! May I ask how young was your LO when you first hired the childminder? I will probably be forced to send my LO or have a childminder when he/she is as young as 4mos...

He was 6 months when I went back part time, she had him 2 days a week, although I'm sure they take them younger aswell.

Nice! Thanks for the info. I also read on another thread that your LO really likes the childminder and you are very happy with her. Thats good to know!

yes she is awesome! its very easy to find great childminders, for me it has made leaving him and going back to work so much easier
