Hi ladies.....just looking for a bit of advice re. Supplements. Having had a whole load of tests my progesterone came back as 20. The specialist says this is slightly borderline and coupled with the fact my cycle has shortened slightly to 25 days and I’ve had some spotting he thinks I may have a slight issue with my progesterone. He seemed rather dismissive about any kind of medication etc. though so I’m rather confused and wondered if there is anything I can do?

There are supplements that are thought to naturally increase progesterone and lengthen the luteal phase but I honestly can't remember which ones they are, you would need to google. However, I think a level of 20 suggests you may not have ovulated, assuming the test was done on the right day. In that case you may need to investigate something like clomid? This isn't an area I'm particularly familiar with but you should definitely ask him, seems very unfair that he's told you your levels are borderline but then not willing to discuss a plan going forward? Good luck.
