Superstitious testing days!

Hi Girls,

Do you ever get that thing where your testing day ends up being a special day like a birthday or an anniversary or a holiday or something.

Well this is my month, my OPKs have been a bit crazy so I'm either testing-

- On Mothers Day/Hubby's Mum's B-day!
- On Hubby's B-day 5th.
- On My B-day 8th, I was born 10 years to the day exactly when my Mum and Dad met and also my Gran died in this day on my 21st birthday.

I just have to get a BFP this month LOL!!

Does anyone else have a meaningful testing day?

Wow sounds like it has to be your month hun!!! I haven't had any special testing dates yet, but I've just realised that this month I'll be testing on the 10th April which is a year since we had our wedding blessin in Australia (forget about the time difference lol) so hopefully thats a good sign!

Dita, we'll be testing around the same time then, I'm guessing you're TTC again, weren't you having a break for Thailand?

I'm always scared that if i associate it with special occasions that if it doens't go my way that the special day will be forever tainted.

I try to give myself a special day cos that way I feel more positive and it gives me other things to think about in 2ww, this month in due on the 9th of april but will be testing on the 7th as that is they 1 year anniversary of my grandads passing so hoping that it will give me positive thoughts and keep me going.

I'm the opposite to Louise, I always think that if its on a special date then it will somehow make it more likely to be a BFP. By the time that date comes round next year I will have forgotten that it was a disapointment this year. So FX it is a good one! xx

me too! thats why i tested today just to beat the bitch!!!
havn't tested the last 3 months because she didn't give me a chance!!!

I'm ??????? DPO today.....

Either 10DPO if I go off my first positive OPK, 7DPO if I go off pains and EWCM and 4DPO if I go off the Positive OPK I had on Saturday/Sunday!!

Anyway I tested, but I had quite a good imaginary line!!

Will maybe test tomorrow!

Well to add to the superstitiousness of this thread, I've just seen the 3rd pair of magpies this week!? Never seen so many pairs ina week so fx that's a good sign. Would have been even better for see 3 at a time but hey
can't be picky. Just incase anyone doesn't know the saying
for magpies is 1 for sorrow, 2 for joy, 3 for a girl, 4 for a boy, 5 for silver, 6 for gold, 7 for a secret never to be told.
Sad to believe this but ill take anything at the moment!

I got my BFP on my birthday!!! Was only 11dpo, and thought it would be the best birthday present to test - bit stupid really, was ridicolusly early, had the faintest line in the world, which then mean I couldnt drink that evening, to wait and see if my lines got stronger!

Fx for you this month - you sound really positive about it all, and your deserve it!
