But how do you actually pick up and put down and pass a baby !?! Ive always been handed them, and then had it taken off me, Ive never been able to manage to pass it off to someone else till they are bigger and sitting up on their own Lol I think im too paranoid about head neck, soft spots, etc

Babies r so tiny they're fairly easy to get a good grip on,I usualyy put hands under arms and around the back,slowly pick up then once up on ur chest/arm support their heads. It will all come naturally xxx

the best advice i got off a midwife was to put your hands under their shoulders, with your thumbs over the top and just kinda scoop them up, so as you pick them up, your hands come up to support their head and neck and they're secured by your thumbs as for passing them around, when its your own it just kinda comes naturally to you!
