Sunken rib

I was wondering if anyone has a baby with a sunken rib. One of his ribs looks really sunk and the one on the other side slightly raised. This is something that I know wasn't there Friday last week. We went to see out of hours doc who hardly looked at him then said its normal but not normal and he isn't struggling to breath so don't worry. His English was very broken so didn't get any more info. Wasn't very reasuring. I'm considering taking him to our gp anyway but not sure if I'm worrying over nothing.
