sunbathing???

tried to post this a min ago & it didnt work, so if its there twice.....sorry!!!

what are your opinions on sunbathing during pregnancy?
i have been sitting out in the garden a few times for a max of 20 mins, with a towel over my tummy, but i a scared i am not supposed to be doing this?

did it with my other 2, but am o bit of a worrier.

I am sunbathing but with a high factor on my tummy. Think is ok as long as you dont dehydrate or get burnt.

My L/O loves the sun she is always kicking when i am outside. x

Tell me about it. If she does not kick in the morning when i wake i am worried all day until she does. Any little thing makes me worry too. x

Is it ok to use fake tan? I cant go in the sun, its just too hot, getting puffy and heat rash, but hubby is out there getting brown as a berry...sickening! I dont want to look lilly white next to him, are those spray tans safe? He bought me a can but I havn't chanced using it yet incase it has harmful toxins in for babes Thanks , kate

if you search there is a topic on this somewhere, but i beileve it is safe, check the other thread first to make sure though (the fake tan)

sunbathing and fake tan are both safe but remember skin can have dark patches during pregnancy and you may tan quicker so use a sensible spf when sunbathing and go easy on the fake tan!!!!

i have done a bit of both over the past few weeks and i think it has helped me feel better about the way i look and my bump looks lovley in brown!!!!!
