Which sun cream/screen/lotion do you use to protect your LO in the sun?
Why would you recommend the one you use?
I'm looking for one that doesn't leave LO so sticky/oily as I find most do

I use a Johnsons baby one - it's the first one I've used but I'm happy with it. It doesn't smell much, it's creamy enough so I can see where I'm putting it but it rubs in really well and isn't oily at all. Only down side is that you need to squeeze the bottle quite hard to get it out. HTH x

Good question Redshoes - I've been using Nivea Baby 50 factor but don't like it as it leaves a yellow stain on DD's clothes.

I've bought a Simple kids or baby one (can't remember) also 50+ factor to leave at the childminders ('cos it was only £5) and a Boots Soltan face stick (goes on pink and rubs in I think), but I've yet to try these.

My HV recommends the E45 one. But it turns them white. I've not got any yet.

I use an Avon one. It's factor 40 and turquoise in the bottle, so when you put it on you can see where you're putting it..... it doesn't leave your LO blue tho  :D

I have got Sainsburys own just now - a spray bottle and the lotion goes on a greeny colour so you can see where it is going. It isnt greasy and smells lush.... kinda like watermelon - yum!!!

I find that Banana Boat is the best, but it is sometimes hard to get hold of the kids one.

I would recomend Banana Boats Aftersun tho - it is awesome and I have needed it (formyself) many times and I put some of it on to Arianna once we come in from the sun just incase as you can never be too careful

Is Banana boat the one in the pink tube?

If so yeah w use this and its the best we have found for not being sticky or greasy. Nivea is terrible.

They always have plenty of BB in our local Superdrug about £6 a tube
