Can anyone recommend a perfume free cream for a nappy area without zinc in it? Just something mild for a sensitive skin?

I bought a really nice bottle from my home country but have struggled to find similar in the UK. I have Johnsons nappy cream but it has zinc in it and I don't really think that we need it as LO doesn't have a nappy rash or anything.

I use Weleda Calendula cream, not every nappy change, but when necessary. Its very natural and I don't think it has zinc in it.

We buy it in my local health food store, although I assume you can also buy it online.

Thanks Valentine. I had a look at the website and I think it has zinc (oxine) in it, but may be it is not as strong as Johnstone so if I don't find any cream without it I'll give this ago (or ask my mum to send some cream :D ).

tbh if your little one doesn't have nappy rash I personally wouldn't use anything as nappy creams can cause more problems sometimes. I also use the weleda one but only if either of my two has a red bum

I use Calendula lotion (not the creme) and only when my LO has a red bottom. Which is very rare. Works a treat on him. Its a very gentle product and natural. From healthfood stores. A little goes a looooooooong way.

If she has a red bum (not often) we use this:

It's lovely - no zinc, excellent for sensitive skin and I also use it as a lipsalve from time to time :rotfl:
Pure potions also do an oil. DD used to have really dry skin and grapeseed or olive oil wouldn't shift it but this stuff did. We put a capful in her bath (we give her a bath once or twice a week) and her skin is fine now.
