Dec has to take Movicol 3 times a day for 6 months and he isnt very keen on it (well who can blame him ) he will take it if I put a load of juice in with it, but I am certainly not feeding him heaps of juice for six months, so does anyone have any suggestions on how to get it into him.

Thanks in advance x

No ideas I'm afraid just wanted to say good luck x I used to give movicol when I worked in nursing home and we put it in fresh juice or squash x x fingers crossed for you all x

What about yogurt? or if he has weetabix or porridge for breakfast sneak it in that way! I used to work in a care home and that how we got them to take it. xxx

I think the yogurt idea is good :)

Maybe some greek yogurt but some pureed fruit and make enough to do for him taking it 3 times a day?

My eldest has movicol every day, shes been on it for well over a year, she has it mixed with water and drinks it without no problems but the nurse did say that i could mix it with juice, cereal, or anything they like that you can add it too. good luck!

We have it figured now, morning one he will take in his cup of apple/orange juice, lunch time he takes one mixed in his yogurt and his evening one he will take in his glass of diluted orange at tea-time. :) Thanks for all the tips ladies xx
