Hi girls
I've recently had a scan because I was spotting and it showed baby was fine strong HB and I'm 9 weeks 6 days today
It also showed a Subchonic Hemmorage which I had when I misscarried last year the baby didn't develop more than 5 weeks last time and never had a HB so I know it's different but I'm still so scared, the bleed is on the sac of the baby and is approx 17mm

Is there an increased risk of miscarriage with a bleed like this ?? Has anyone had experience

I had a blood clot outside the sac. The baby was 12+1 and very happy inside with very strong heartbeat. I think my blood was too thick and I wish I took baby dose aspirin 75mg to thin the blood.

They sent me home with the blood clot and said they usually get absorbed by the body. Then later that week I passed 2 massive blood clots and it all stopped for a day. And then restarted again later. :(

Id go private and do a blood test to see what is going on. xx

Mine was 11 mm and resolved itself. I was just told to rest and try not to worry if I had more bleeding - which is easier said than done when you have already experienced a mc.

Clover, call EPU and ask them your questions and if they can't answer them, then ask them to refer you on to someone who can.

I can imagine this is so worrying for you so do what you can to get answers.

If they've advised rest then get signed off work for a couple of weeks and try and take it as easy as you can.

I had a bleed when I had my 12 week scan, was right next to baby they said it's quite common. At my 16 week scan it had disappeared x

I'm actually going on holiday on Tuesday for 10 days , first abroad holiday since my son was born and he's just turned 5 ...do I'm a but apprehensive because I'm going to be in Portugal and I'm scared if anything happens there

I may ring the EPU on Tuesday when I'm waiting at the Airport , they did say not to worry as it's common and normally absorbs

Charlotte yours was a clot? I'm not sure if this is a clot or a bleed, I should if asked more when I was there , I'm so sorry about your loss hun

Mine was a clot outside the sac. It was bleeding so I was spotting a bit. I had a scan saw my baby and also saw the clot.

Midwife reassured me it was very common and body usually absorbs it. I did a reasearch about it and its good chance it gets absorbed.

I'm not a doctor but I would take small dose of aspirin.

Its not very common to have mc because of this. But there is a risk. So that's why when you get back from holiday please see the doctor and do a blood test.

Ive got a good feeling about you and you will be fine. Take it easy and plenty of rest.

I have now recovered and just had my first AF. We are ready to start again next week.
