stupid question about formula

When do you move to the next level of scoops and amount of water? As side of box states age in week/months and also approx weight or do you go with what your baby wants say if they were draining bottle really quickly every bottle

We went with what Sophie wanted. When she started consistently draining 3oz we then moved up to 4 and so on but the jump from 4oz to 5oz took a lot longer and shes only just taking 5oz now at 10 weeks after being on 4oz from about 3/4 weeks old.

I'm doing formula top ups and just go with what Emily wants. Her feeds aren't all the same - I just go with her needs and wants.

I think when they start draining it each time or showing signs of still being hungry then start uping it, my LO is currently on 6oz but according to the tin should only be having 5oz but then shes only just over 9 pounds at 7 weeks old so not a big baby so really does vary. This week she seems to be taking less but think that more likely to her being a bit off! X

my LO is 9 weeks old and is currently taking 6oz of SMA extra hungry milk. when she was draining her bottles for 4 days running i would then up her feeds by an OZ. let you baby lead you i dont take any notice to whats on the back of a back of the formula tins.

im just going with what she wants

She was on 120 ml from about 5 days old so when she was emptying them i started makin 150 but she can take anywhere from 100 to 140 ml out of it but id rather make the llittle extra for the times she is hungry she goes so crazy
she only takes the fulll 150 maybe once a day but when she is draining a few of them il pob up it again
