I know it is a normal pregnancy symptom but it is very frustrating! Cant even lie on the sofa without struggling and needing to sit upright. Can only imagine what it will be like as I get bigger :-\

Glad its not just me. I walk home.from work and by the time ive left the building I'm out of breath! xx

I get this too, it's awful. Even sometimes I'll be standing making a cuppa and suddenly can't breathe, just standing there lol Baby feels quite high, with my son I never had shortness of breath at all and I was massive with all the fluid I carried, but this time it's really doing me in!

It is just so annoying! And to think there are months left yet and it is only going to get worse :-\ I find it is worse when I am lying down or sitting in a funny position but also get really breathless walking up hills etc that I would previously have been fine with!

Not just me then. I do still walk my dog every day but have to keep reminding myself that I have to slow down cos I am now 6 months pregnant and not as fit as I normally am. It is one thing that I'm missing - exercise and being fit. It'll be worth it in the end and then I can start my fitness regime all over again lol

I get this too. It really annoys me most when I am lying down, need to prop myself up when I'm lying on the sofa and can never get comfy.

I'm the same!
I've always been a naturally fast walker, but now I'm all like 'slow down I can't breathe' even if I'm only nipping to the shop.
Its a pain, but in a few months I'll be zipping by at my usual pace with a pram lol. X

I miss the exercise too. Used to running most days, and we have 2 border collies that need big walks and still take them when I can but OMG it's a struggle. Can't wait to get my fitness back again. Even carrying my LO up stairs nearlys floors me atm!!!!

The lack of fitness is really getting me down! I am used to running around like a mad woman, spin, high intensity workouts and not having flabby thighs.... keep telling myself that it will all be worth it (which it will).

The breathlesness isn't really bad apart from when walking up flights of stairs xx

I find I get this most when trying to sing. I'm pretty sure DH is quite pleased with the fact that I have to stop ;)
xx

Im not too bad tbh, I do get a little out of breath but nothing major
