Stressful morning

Had 16 week appointment today (I know - I'm 18 weeks, she went on holiday and didn't arrange any cover for clinic) and she couldn't find baby's heartbeat at all. Apparently my placenta is anterior and it's right over the whole area where they listen so I had to be sent to the pregnany assessment unit for another listen. Fortunately they found it and everything is okay but it took ages and totally freaked me out. There are so many naughty babies around recently, I wish they'd just stop scaring us!

Then I found a GIANT wasp in my bedroom and totally freaked again. I'm going to eat some chocolate.
