This may sound weird and it's hard to explain but when I saw the heartbeat for the first time today, after the initial happiness I felt like "who's that?!" and how bizarre to have "someone else" inside me! I'm sure I'll get used to it in a day or two but right at this moment it feels like I don't know this other lil person growing inside me..am I weird???!

I cant imagine!!! I am nearly 12 weeks and I haven't even heard my babies heart beat!!! Seeing midwife on Monday for first time.
I understand what your saying, you'll change your mind in a few days, and you will be in ore!!!

Yes, I'm sure I will, it just looked like it was winking at me when I saw the heartbeat

Bet you can't wait, when's your scan?

My scan isn't until the 3rd July- I will be 13 weeks then.
I have found this site hard cause most people have had one by 7-8 weeks!!!!
But I am sooooo excited, just praying everything is ok!!!!!!

Usually an early scan is because of possible problems, bleeding etc, so I'm sure you'll be fine xx
