Hiya so I use the fertility monitor every month and I normally get high fertility than peak. So this month I am on cd10 and no cm so far , some ovulation pains but thats all. I started testing from on cd6 and till now its still low fertility. Also on cd6 till cd8 my opks were darker and now they gone back to light again. I know I havent ovulated as I am temping too. It might that I am going to have really long cycle this month ?

My previous cycles have all been straight forward with OPKs, but this one has been mental! I got positive OPK at CD7, nearly positives at CD10, positive at CD14 and then blazing positives at CD16 and 17. I'm now CD19 and feel like I have defo ovulated now (cramps I've had the last 3 days are near enough gone), but I had visible ewcm at CD10 and lotion like CM from CD13. I don't temp so it's all been a guessing game as to what's happening!
OPKs can go from feint to positive in the same day, so it doesn't mean you will have a long cycle. X

Are the pains stabby or dull? Having sex isn't a waste as it's good for your fertility and your partner's.
Hiya the pains not like it used to be. It’s like niggling pains but still very dry no cm whatsoever. It’s sooo irritating to wait as by cd10 I should have got some cm. we are still going to bd every other day but my DH hasn’t got the stamina to go like this for another week so I am thinking should I not have sex till I see some cm?

When was your darkish opk and how dark was it? are u well hydrated?
On cd6 to 8 I would say it was quite dark but not as dark as the control line. Now on cd10 it started to fade! How strange right? This never happened before. I am drinking lots of water and never had a cycle this dry before. I normally have high sex drive around this time but this month I could go without it for a while lol

It doesn't have to be as dark as the control line. You could be ovulating today. Especially if you have the pains. You can use a fertility lubricant if thee EWCM isn't there.

Yes I am thinking tonight for sure. I have to tell him in advance so he doesn’t drink otherwise they will be no action in the bedroom. On top of that his parents are coming to stay with us for 2 weeks! I am so gutted about it as it’s hard as it is. When they are here it just makes it so hard to get in the mood etc ... why why TTC has to be so hard and just can’t get pregnant quick so all this stops!

I'm sure you know this, and I remember you having difficulty getting your man to adopt a fertility friendly lifestyle, but him drinking at all can affect his sperm count. I'm sure you know that. Sorry the inlaws are throwing a spanner in the works!
hey sunflower, yes I know but I can't stop him from drinking but he did reduce a little, if I push him any further he will stop TTC so I need to be careful here.
By the way still no positive opk and no cm, so I am skipping tonight. I think I am going to have a long cycle this month compared to my usual ones. My longest has been 26 days ever but looks like this month will be over 28 days or I ovulated already
