Stomach cramps

I'm just wondering....
Is it normal to have stomach cramps in early pregnancy? I've been having them on & off for 5 days now & I keep going to the toilet expecting to have come on my period. Anyone else have this? I'm driving myself mad.

Yeah I had it Alot. If you are worried, give the doc a call. I got a few early scans with my first because of them and I had spotting xx

i had cramping with baby number one, I was convinced that my period was about to start each time I went to the loo. I've got a healthy baby boy now I'm pregnant again (8 weeks) and have had some more mild cramping this time too.
I think it's just your body adjusting and preparing itself to carry a baby, and that it's considered normal in earlyl pregnancy. I guess you know your own body, and if anything was to persist or get worse then to contact your midwife/doctor.

I wrote exact same post a few weeks ago. Since then I've had a scan with a hb. Everyone has said it's very normal. By the end I was more paranoid when I wasn't cramping. It comes and goes now. Some days are worse than others. If it becomes debilitating in anyway then go and see your GP x

i cramped all the way up to 12 weeks, expecting to lose the baby, if its your first its just your body changing and growing ready for the baby xx

I am 4 weeks pregnant and have bad stomach cramps every day. Was a bit anxious in the beginning but I see it is quite common . Not going to stress myself because of that , at least trying to

I'm still getting them on & off, I have a docs appt for next Wednesday. But I'm reassured that it's common. I haven't been pregnant for 13 years & I don't remember anything from back then aside from the sickness lol. Thank you all xx

i still get an odd cramping now and again! i think its just where they baby is sitting or moving

I get cramping but light cramping... the other symptoms are more overwhelming and I have kind of gotten used to the minor cramps here and there. It's definitely normal. If it becomes painful or concerning though call your doctor and do get checked out. Hope all is well and congrats on your pregnancy!

I have the exact same thing! On and off throughout the day, but i've heard it's normal....so i'm not stressing about it. Appointment next wednesday so I will double check all is ok then
