Just had 34 week mw appointment and feeling a bit deflated. Idk why I feel so meh about it.

I think a little bit of it is OH related. He was off work today and could have come along and didn't. That's not agreed with my hormonal side tbh.

So lo is measuring 36 weeks and is still breech. I've just bought a ball and done some reading. I've just read the optimal fetal positioning leaflet she gave me, and I'm probably always in the wrong position by the sounds of it. I lie on the couch every night. Although upright.

Anyway, she's booked me in for a scan next Wednesday to confirm it and then an appointment afterwards to discuss whether they can move him or whether just to go for a c section. She said they don't recommend breech deliveries so will be one or the other.

Has anyone gone for the moving thing? I know it's suppose to be uncomfortable but will do whatever they think is best.

Pinky - I also felt horrible when she was checking heartbeat. It took a bit longer today because of his positioning and she wasn't bothered but I thought I might cry when it wasn't there straight away.

My notes say no concerns and good movement etc. I just feel a bit flat.

:hugs: first of all ur OH needs a kick up the butt! if he was off work today he should have gone with you :(

secondly, is there any chance baby could just move themselves before labour?? xx

Oh Hun, sorry to hear baby is in breech still and OH I'd being a pain in the arse?! Wtf is that about? Honestly men!!
R u doing hypnobirthing at all? The relaxation technique to move baby naturally is really successful-70% ao is maybe worth a go? The company i went through is uk wide?-easi birthing and comes highly recommended xxxx good luck and try and right today off and start again tomorrow :) xxxxx

Thanks ladies. I hate having a moan about OH as he's pretty good really.

I've not tried hypno birthing. Will look into it, thanks hun.

Pos - Idk. I hope so. That's kind of what I was thinking before, but now I'm thinking I need to do more to help him along.

I was told my LO was breech at around 34 weeks. I went for my scan and he wasn't!! So you never know you could get a nice surprise like we did!

Sometimes I think we shouldn't have to hear the heartbeat just incase! I'd felt him move in the morning so thought he was ok but time goes so slow when they can't find it lol!

yeah the heartbeat thing is horrible, it happened to me yesterday and once before, u think they are about to tell you the worst news and then..they find it! like you say, the time just stops doesn't it!? xx

It's horrible. Even though I felt him about 5 mins before!

Thanks ladies. xxx

Pinky - that's good to know. Hopefully she was wrong and it's his bum or something!

xx
