Sterilization for men

Hello everyone,

My husband is going to get sterilized after I give birth and just wanted to know if there are some ladies who's partners have done this (and if they changed because of this)?

Also any ideas/tips would be lovely

I can't offer any information as I'm in exactly the same position as you. My OH will be getting it done after our baby is born too so I will be thread stalking

I do however remember one woman I used to work with, her husband had it done and it failed, after a couple of months they tested his sperm again and he was still fertile so he had to have it done again unfortunately x

Yeah it can take a couple attempts. My friend had it done recently and had to ejaculate something like 25 times in 3 weeks then go back for the test.

If you mean change as in personality, no its not like having your dog neutered. They still mark their territory. Xx

Ahahaha i certainly felt sorry for his wife! Id have been like "sort yourself out love, Im not the one cramming for a test!"

I've never heard that one before

OH has had it done recently. Apart from being sore everything went well.
No hints or tips except rest up and take painkillers.
They do tests after about 12 and 14 weeks to make sure it worked too x

Some surgeons reccomend the lots of ejaculation, others don't. You don't have to do it but it makes you sterile quicker. A few men I know have told me this xx
