steralizing

How long do you all plan to sterilize for ? I'm at a loss

once daisy starts shoving everything in her mouth i will stop steralising or when she starts solids at 6months if not cant see point in steralising once other stuff going into the system

^^^ I agree, when they get to the stage where everything goes in their mouth and their sucking the curtains and chewing on their shoes, I dont see the point in sterilising everything!

with K i stopped about 11 months cos she wasnt really an eating everything type baby! with E it was before 6 months, cos i thought there was feck all point wasting my time sterilising when she was licking peoples patios i also stopped boiling her water at around the same time cos she was just drinking her sister's all the time!

I was thinking it might be time for me to stop soon Aoibh is 8 months old and I often find her munching on the sofa or trying to lick the floor

At baby group the other day someone asked this question and the lady said to carry on steralizing bottles that have had milk in because of the bugs, as milk grows bugs really quickly just to be on the safe side, unil they are a year old. But after 6 months don't steralize bowls or bottle/cups that have just had water. Don't know what i shall do yet . xx
