Starting to worry now!!

Not a great start of the new year.
But lil man is spewing on every bottle i give him i put it down to 6oz now but he only takes bout 4 an then bes sick even if i give him a solid he chucks most of it back up that aint reflux i dont think. cos i dont understand cos solids i thought would be easier. hes 6 months old an now im getting worried cos nothing is staying down. if i give him calpol or nurofen he pukes that back up not straight away but he does eventually an with bottles its when i wind him he chucks it up with a birp an more sick comes out so im scared of givin him the last bit of the bottle. im now scared if hes not getting enough an i doubt docs r open today.
hes on aptamil but im thinkin of changes his milk as hes also on solids to well suppose to be wat do others think ? x

gp's have an out of hours service. is he well otherwise? it could still be reflux.. i was told if alanna threw up a whole feed, not to re-feed her then, but try and setlles her to sleep for a bit so her tummy calmed down, then give a lil feed after 3 hours

he still has hes smilies but hes more grouchy because he hasnt got much food in his belly . he never used to suffer with this, i dread every feed now i hate it x

Dont keep feeding him milk feeds, if he's sick it wont help, just give him little bits of water every so often, id say wait at least 6 hours since he last was sick and then try him with 1 or 2oz of milk at a time, leave for a while and then build it back up again back to normal. Dont worry about it, he wont starve, you just need to keep him from getting dehydrated so water is a must!!

If he cant even keep water down then take him to the doctors because i dont think it sounds like reflux to me, not appearing at 6 months, sounds like he might have a tummy bug

tried giving him baby porridge with water in that so later on ill try him with water from the bottle on its own? im goin crazy really cos hes usually nice an settled but he wants to be irritating an mardy today lol x

shall i still give him his solids like baby jars ive got?? as of if i just leave him hours without milk he will get real groggy x

Hes not had a bottle since 7 this morning although i gave him porridge instead. think i might try him with some water in his bottle when he wakes up x

my doc always says starve them and its always worked for me, if he has a bug in his tummy the milk feeds it. If after a good few hours he is really hungry try give him say 4 oz but with only 2 scoops in. hope he's better soon xx

ive got one made up at 5oz i will see how much he takes on that one. I did try with him with just bit of water hes not bothered about water basically spat it out lol. although i thought id wind him to see if theres anything trapped an he brought the milk back up. Im hopin OH wakes up soon so he can try LO with the milk feed as im dreading it x
