Starting to panic...what do I need???!!!

Hi all

I've seen threads before about this but can't find any of them, wish I;d bookmarked them

Just starting to panic about what I need, I feel unprepared! How many of what clothes do I need, and how many of everything do I need???

It's a summer baby so obviously won't need winter newborn stuff.

HELP!!!

if you have a mothercare or babies r us catolgue there are lists in there, also in most baby mags

i will see if i can find the posts with lists in them

I wouldn't bother geting much newborn stuff- chances are they will only fit for a few weeks. 0-3 month stuff will last longer.

Evie has lots of clothes but I know she won't wear half of them. I'd recommend vests, vests, and more vests! they get puked and pooed on daily so you'll need a few! She has a million little dresses but I don't bother with those if we are at home!

Sleepsuits are good too- they are the long sleeved ones with feet

Other than that I'd say stock up on muslins/bibs and get a few blankets, a couple of hats and a cardigans for when it gets a bit chilly in the evening.

You'll find you are inundted with clothes after baby is born as people can't resist!
