Stabbing Pains

I thought i'd post to try to put my mind at rest. Earlier today I had some sharp stabbing pains inside my foo foo - only about three or four times but boy did it hurt!

Just wondering if anyone knows what it was or has had it themselves!?!

I sometimes get pains like that. I have no idea what it is, feels like some sort of spasm. It just happens for a sec and stops. If you don' t have any other pains or bleeding, then I dont think you have to worry.

If you are concerned, or if they come back ring your MW. You cant really tell what the problem is over internet.

hi hun i have had this quite alot and i think it is the pressure of babies head on your bladder and pelvis. it happens to me whenever i have done alot of walking or cleaning, or it could be a sign that baby is starting to move further down as this creates more pressure down there.

I get that when the baby kicks and she is breech. I'm not saying yours is breech, hopefully one of the other girls have got it right but when she kicks my bits it does hurt.

I haven't had it at all so far today, and I haven't been on my feet as much either - so could be related??

Who knows, hopefully babe will arrive soon & it won't happen at all any more!!

i've had the same thing all day today!! It hurt sooo bad and was quite sudden and made me cry out... unfortunately, i was in a meeting with the management (who are all men!) at the time, and they thought i was going into labour!!!

It's when the baby kicks/moves, it's so low down that it feels right in your foo foo, apparently.

sorry i know u know about it now and its all cool,
just wanted to say i remember getting those pains at the same time every night for a week at about 37-38 weeks..my M/W said its babys head engaging and moving down..so its a good thing! painful but a good sign

Yes get these too and they really hurt and make me shout out too glad i am at home when i do!!
