Spotting

Hello everyone,

Just a quick one, been to the loo and noticed some blood spots on the tissue, not loads just a few little dots but now I am panicing, should I be worried, I have not had any cramping and have just made it to 10weeks, should I call the doctor (as no contact from midwife yet) or should I wait to see if it gets any worse,

phone the hospital where you're under and ask to be put throught to the early pregnancy assessment unit they might be able to help you there as all the doctor will do is tell you to go to them more than likely

Hi jay, please don't panic doll, I would phone the hospital or EPU they will see you and that will help to easy you worry.. let us know how you get on, peace of mind is free, don't wait for that

if it were me id call the doctor hun and just see what they say, it cant do any harm and better to be on the safe side, alot of women have spotting in their first tri and it can be very normal. let us know how you get on x

Just called the doctor and they said as only a little bit it can be normal and to monitor it over the next few hours, if any more shows or it gets worse I am to make an appointment this afternoon from 2 o'clock.

well some good news, had an early scan as spotting continued, was signed off from work for a week (hence the late update) but everything was fine, got a pic of my little bean, dates changed am now only 10wks and 1 day!
