Hi

I have two children. We really struggled to have the first, took over 3 years, but the second was a breeze and only took a month. We're now wanting to try for a third, although we're not actively trying, we're just seeing what happens.

This is my third cycle off the pill. The first month was a normal cycle, although slightly longer. Last month, I started spotting from 10dpo and this month I started spotting from 6dpo. Pretty certain I'm not pregnant. I'm 10dpo now, and the spotting is getting a bit heavier. I did a test and it's negative. I just wondered if there's anything that can help with this? I had it before when we were trying for my first. I didn't second time round as I only had one period after I had my eldest child, then fell pregnant with our second and then went straight back on the pill after him. When I had it before, it just seemed to go away on it's own. But it's really annoying. Any tips or advice? I had a smear test done last month and I've had the results back and it's all clear.

Just to add, while trying for my first (and, as I said, I was getting the early spotting then), I had numerous tests. I don't have endometrosis or cysts (well I didn't then anyway). Every test I had was all clear. I had the hysteroscopy, laparoscopy and an internal scan of my ovaries.

Very common for periods to be messed up after the pill, it happens to almost everyone and will sort itself out as long as there's no underlying reason for it

I agree with mystery. I had the same problem when i came off depo. It took a while for my period to get babacto normal

Hi  you can try to lengthen your LP a bit by adding more Vit C (foods such as papaya, bell peppers, broccoli, brussel sprouts, strawberries and oranges), EFA such as Omega 3 is crucial (I add flaxseed oil to my diet but you can also eat Flaxseeds, walnuts, salmon, sardines, halibut, shrimp, snapper, scallops and chia seeds), Vit B (I use Neurobian) or you can use Vitex (Vitex is a beautiful shrub native to Greece and Italy whose berries have been used in herbal medicine for centuries. It is considered one of the most popular herbs in Europe and other Western nations for the support of gynecological imbalances.
Modern clinical research and traditional use of Vitex have shown its amazing ability to help balance fertility hormones. Since Vitex does not contain hormones, it has a supportive, gentle and non direct action on the body. Vitex is one of the most useful fertility herbs available to us - see http://natural-fertility-info.com/vitex)

I'm currently using Fertilaid, we're TTC Oct/Dec so then in September I'll add Ovaboost and FertileCM
