Spots

Does anybody's baby have spots? Reece has loads. They aren't milk spots they are like acne and he has loads of blackheads too. They are on his cheeks.

I wash his face properly twice a day with a sponge and water. Am i supposed to use soap etc? I never used anything like that incase it makes them worse.

Any ideas?

If you think it looks like acne, t's quite possible that Reece is suffering with baby acne. ( I think it's actually called neonatorum). Baby acne usually appears between the age of three months and five years, and is more commonly seen in boys.
If I were you I would get it checked out by your GP. Although you are doing the right thing by keeping Reeces skin nice and clean, to clear his skin you may need to have something on prescription, such as Dalacin T solution or a similar sulphur preparation.
