SPD and TENS

I asked my physio about using a TENS machine to ease the SPD pain and he said they are not advised as they can bring on contractions. A friend has just emailed me to say someone in her antenatal class was advised to use on, but she is 37 weeks so I wonder if they deem the risk of labour at that stage acceptable. Has anyone heard of using TENS safely earlier in pregnancy? I'm 30 weeks now and really hate taking all this paracetamol!

I'd go with your physio's advice hun, your friend is full term at 37 weeks so maybe that is why?

Hmm, that's what I was thinking, from week 37 I'll be chapping their door for one though
