Sorry to ask for advice already-confused!

Been to docs for a chat check dates etcs,conceived on November 11th. Day of last period was 28th October doc said im 6 weeks how do they work this out as its only about 4 weeks since we conceived? Im so confused and she was talking so quick Help!

They usually work it out from your last period due date; although I was thought to be 8 weeks when the doctors worked it out and on having a scan I was 9.3 and now at my 10th week (with everythings crossed and hopeful). So go with the GP until you have your scan chick and know for sure. x

Thank you my partner was freaking out as was i as we did first slept together on 11th November (my first partner for a while) and conceived so wondering how they worked out I was 6 weeks, have another appointment tomorrow as cant keep food down so have more of a chat then (different doctor) Thank you!

yeah they always add 2 weeks on so when you concieve your already 2 weeks gone congratulations

This is all so confusing all i want to do is cry and im not sure why. Hope I get better doctor tomorrow

I think its harder as dont have a close family member to talk to (im adopted) my parents think im being lazy as all i want to do is sleep lol. Hoping to find a friend whos close to talk to and can be confused together!

how did you conceive the 11th when your last period was the 28th i thought you have to have your period then you ovulate i know some people have there periods while pregnant but im silightly confused i always thought they go from last day of period and you conceive the time after your period then obv going on to miss one so example you had youor period the 28th so did you not conceive after that then they take you from the date of las period if you know what i mean sorry if im confusing anyone

now im even more confused last day of period was around the 28th oct, can you explain it clearer to me?

you put wrong month thats all hunny lol you put november instead of oct congrats on your pregnancy x

sorry brains mushed could be due to having head down the loo for the last 3/4 days lol. Maaged to forget my date of bith at doctors today woman behind counter looked at me like i was nuts lol
