Sore bottom

Jack has a really sore bum, bapanthem normally settles it but this isn't touching it, I've tried lavendar and tea tree compresses and we spent yesterday without a nappy on.

I have some steroid cream the doc's gave me for ezema on his face do you think I could put a bit on this on his bottom?

I haven't no, but I have realised I have changed my washing powder so my nappies are ALL currently in washer with our usual fairy non bio Cos I don't know which ones have been washed in it and which ones haven't

Pop him in the bath for half an hour won't cure it but might take some of the redness away bless him

My babe had sore bum at 3 days and i treated it with nipple cream - but the pure lanolin form covered with a little sudacream it took a few days but soon dried up x

I was gonna suggest air but I see that you already tried that.. I don't know hun, sudocream or bepanthem always does the trick for Odhrán.. Hope it clears up soon for him x

What we do and it seems to help the irritation is put the treatment on the sore area and spread a small amount of vaseline/zinc cream on the nappy before you fold it up! Prevents the rubbing while the rash cream can get to work on the sore patches ...
