Well my children Duncan 2 years and James is 7 months old, have to go to nursery for 4 weeks, not my request.
Yesterday was their first day and daddy took them in, today this morning we both took them. As we left Duncan started crying and this broke my heart, leaving him crying, i didnt even know these people, met them for 5 mins and expect to trust them.
Settles James in upstairs then we left.
I have been crying all morning, sobbing into duncans fleece, smelling his sweet smell and i feel so lonely.
i miss them so much and feel like my heart is braking into two.

Aw hun its natrual to feel sad...why have they got to go to nursery?

Also did they not have settling in periods? Usually before you start a nursery you go in for a few times, first time to sit in the room with the children and get to know the other children/staff and assess how they work. and from then you get sessions when you leave them but stay in the nursery and see how they are doing and then a 3rd session when you leave for an afternoon or so.....

Aw no

Why not stay a bit longer next time and chat to the staff? I'm sure they will be able to reassure you.

Its along story but they are both fussy eaters and this nursery is supposed to help them.
When i spoke to her last nite she sed there worst fussiest eater only used to eat burnt toast and noodles without sauce or owt !!
Well my kids are not that fussy but its the social services been stickin their beaks in MAKING me take them there. i will never forgive them if something happens and ill never forgive myself either,
it wasnt so long ago a lil girl died near me cos of a nursey not paying attention.

dont mean to be nosey but why are social services involved

because the health visitors told them tog et involved the health visitors r expecting babies that have never been big to suddenly get bigger and fatter and get on the middle centile flippin line

just read ur ticker... what does it all mean??

100mg clomid start next cycle
day 21 progesterone result is 139

so they think that you are starving you babies basically.
still I spose people would complain if babies were starved and nobody did anything. I am sure that you babies will be fine and after a few days will probably enjoy the extra stimulation that nursery provides.
My mum never got any social workers called for me and I have always been tiny ... still am  and as for fussy eating I never ate much at all as a kid and I never died. I would take a few bites from an apple and the odd bite of chocolate or a few mushrooms and that would be it and I only started to get any kind of appetite at about 15 then it was only for junk. I still don't eat big meals
not everybody can eat a whole horse and 3 scaby dogs heads :rotfl:

needs updating thats from 3 months ago, i have been on clomid to help me ttc and my progesterone results when tested on clomid was 139 and they look fo 40 and above to show ovulation.

my dd is 12 and is sooooooo tiny she was a really fussy eater at about 8 months old all she would eat is yoghurts, now she is still small but very very healthy :D

whyslifesobig-
its all true what you just said they snack too, they preer to feed themselfs instead of sloppy, food thats been mashed down!!
And  they better mind they are not forcing them to eat or else ill be gettin the police involved, i was force fed til i was 17 years old
i was made to sit at the table and finish it all or else get a beating and if they even force one tiny pea in i wil go ape shit

susie-

Their main concern is that even tho duncan was small at 6 months he was double and more of his birth weight, and james is still not there yet :(

I was prem and had heart problems so probably not the same but at 1yr old I was only just the birth weight of most babies. I really wouldn't worry too much. If you present them with lots of healthy foods to nibble on and give them lots of milk they will be fine I am sure of it. I have more concern with people over feeding kids these days tbh.
I see children going to the local primary school who are bigger than I am :x I am talking 6/7yr olds

yes i know what you mean, i thought the focus was on obese children too these days but with those charts how they are its not suprising we have so many obese people and cihldren now adays
