Ok i have so many questions but don;t worry im not going to ask them all tonight!

1) I seem to be obsessed with taking tests I have had 3 positives now and keep thinking i should do another test. I just can't seem to belive tat i am pregnant! I haven't had any bleeding or any cramping - just wondered if anyone else feels like this?

2) When are you planning on telling people? I'm not sure if i want mine and my DH parents to know straight away or to wait.

Ok i think i will leave the rest for the moment! Thank you ladies x x x

Hey sweetie!

I do have simular to one but all my tests are faint ....but im sure it will pass sweetie just restrain urself.

number 2 well ive told everyone posible already haha so just tell them when u feel is right xxx

Hiya honey,

Congratulations again, it is great news!! I don't think there are any definitive answers to your questions.
1) I took 9 tests when I got pregnant last Novemeber, much like you, I just wanted to make sure. But we could probably save ourselves a lot of money because a false positive is extremely rare...we should believe what we see :D this time round I took 2 tests and then DH hid them all. He didn't want me comparing lines and getting stressed about whether one was getting darker or fainter.
2) Again up to you. I told my family and friends at about 8 weeks last time, but the I miscarried at 10 weeks  . I didn't mind them knowing though because they were so supportive and caring.
This time I have told only a very few people (my sister, MIL and my boss) not because I don't want people to know if I miscarry, but because I am trying to keep my feet on the ground in case this pregnancy goes wrong. When people know you're expecting, it is too easy to get caught up in exciting baby talk and it makes things tougher if the worst happens. I will probably tell most people after my scan or a bit later.
It really is up to you and how you feel, there is no right or wrong.
I hope you're feeling well and a big congrats again, it is wonderful news!! :cheer:

Thanks girls - i know there are no definate answers but i was just curious as to what people were doing. Think we are going to wait until we tell people......... ummmmmm that might change in a few days!

Going to the GP on friday hopefully so they can confirm and hopefully stop me testing again and again! Thankyou for the support you have already show us x x x

I did about 7 tests in the couple weeks after my bfp! It's best not to though cos people in here have scared themselves silly by doing that and getting negatives when they're still definately preggy.

I told my close family and friends straight away, only just told work. It depends what you feel comfortable with

1) I took 12 tests within 9 weeks to finally believe I was PG, then I only really believed it at the scan (that's actually a lie. I still don't believe it :D )

2) We've only told our families today at 12 weeks. But it's up to you, tell them when you feel comfortable.

Congratulations on the BFP tots!!!

I did about 11 tests onlt because i wanted to see the line get darker and when it did i stopped!!

I've told work, most of my family and a few friends, i wanna tell everyone but my OH is making me wait until the 12 week scan!!!

PS my doctor didn't want to confirm it, just took my word for it.

I have a heart condition so need to go anyway to get a check up which i think is the conformation that i need. Just hoping that all goes well, thanks ladies x x x

Hya  , upto date I have done 9 tests all positive!
I couldn't believe that I was preganant eaither until last week when I got more symptoms than I bargained for!
We told our kids straight away,I know we probably should have waited a little longer but we were so excited, they in turn told everyone that they met so now more people know than i would have liked but unfortunatley there is now no going back!
Congrats BTW :D

congrats

i did two tests i haveso many symptoms i cant not believe it lol

i told a few close friends and relatives early on but mainly for support.

how old are you children claire? I'm dying to tell my two but know they'll do the same as yours so i've got to wait.

My scan had been booked and it's they day we go away for a long weekend so my girls will be there and that when i'll tell them, I can't wait!!!!

I only did two tests, but did find it hard to believe that I was actually pg.

We told our families straight away, but have only started telling friends over the last couple of weeks.
