I have been told by my French GP (through my mum) that the fact that Thomas is suffering from bad constipation is very dangerous for him, that he could have an intestine occlusion and if it happens, he could die from it!!!! He has been constipated for more than 8 days once and when i told that to my actual GP all she said was to give him more water. I cannot beleive she did not warn me of this Because i would have given him the medication far more in advance than now if i knew. Fortunately, this did not happen but if it means that thomas will always be on medication, he will be because i am not tempting fate here. but I am so crossed with that GP, some really do not care and are paid up to 250 000 pounds a year!!!!!

if i were u hun i would put in an official complaint they shouldnt be allowed to get away with that, i do feel most of them flog you off with anything just to shut you up sometimes. its a disgrace!!!

They have no bedside manner some of them and different ones tell you different things depending on their experience and personal opinions - bit like HV's and MW's - you never know what to bloody think. I just go by my instinct now.
