Hi Sarah, this is how I make smoothies I don't know if they are ok for babies too. I use a milk, banana and any other defrosted frozen/fresh fruit add some yoghurt and put it in the blender. They can also be made with just yoghurt or just milk. I like strawberry and banana but I don't think its advised to give babies strawberries. Banana and mango is also nice
This weeks First magazine has a great kids reciepe for Fruity Chocolate Shake. Recomended for firghting infections and viruses like colds and coughs and as an energy booster cause it contains three natural sugars.
Ingredients:
2 ripe bananas
1 generous tpsp cocoa powder
half tsp vanilla extract
1tsp honey (if your bub is old enough)
4 heaped tbsp natural yogurt
150ml apple juice
150ml milk
3-4 ice cubes
Method:
Wizz all the ingredients together in a blender and serve immediately.
