Smiley face on day 9 of cycle? Normal? Help!

Hello peeplings!

Im very new to forum so excuse my lack of abreviations! I dont know wat CDs, OPKs or AFs, etc are yet! Language confusion!
Ive been having probs carrying a baby for over 18mths now so thawt it was about time i joined a forum.

Anyway! Been trying again recently.
Using the clearblue digi tests at the mo.
Yesterday late afternoon (day 8) i had no smiley face and then this morning (day 9) at 4am (Up for work!!!) i DID have a smiley face - then resulting in me running a little late for work .........

Is it normal to ovulate this early??
Cud any other hormone give a positive test?
I know ur not all doctors but was just wondering if anyone else had this happen to them too? And if so wat was the outcome?

Hiya,

I am not sure if there are any other hormones that can give a positive result. How long is your cycle usually??
I am sure there are people that do ovulate that early cos some people have a shorter cycle. xx

Hi if your cycles are 26 days then you would ovulate around cd10 so this is prob why you have your smiley face on cd 9 sorry to hear about your losses. If you dont mind me asking how long into your pregnancy are you before you have a loss ? I have also had problems carrying a few pregnancys myself. I have somthing called natural killer cells. Cd's are ( cycle days ) Opks are ( ovulation predictor tests ) AF is (Aunt Flow ) meaning period. Bfn is big fat negative, bfp is big fat positive. 2ww is two week wait You will get use to the lingo. Thanx for replies & star thanx for being so helpful hun!
My cycles have been up and down over last 2yrs but that mainly cuz of pregnancies or being on the pill/not being on the pill. But once things settle down in between MCs im normally 28/30days.

Ive had 3 chem MC, 2x MC @ 8/9weeks (inc twins last xmas) and a MC at 11weeks this last June. Xmas and june babies had heartbeats and then i lost them afterwards. After june MC i went back on the pill for two months cuz cudnt stand the heartache agen until the docs cud give me some answers.

They think its tht my blood is too thick so my blood clots and stops my baby being fed. Theyve put me on asprin to take per day and told me to try agen whilst they do more and more blood tests to check our genes and various other things. So just waiting for all kinds of results.

I know wen u come off the pill it CAN mess AF (arent i clever lol) and Ovulation up abit but didnt realise cud have hormone surge so early.

Wat r natural killer cells hun?

Hiya. I had 2 chemical pregnancys about 5wks started to bleed & then i had another 2 losses, i lost my son at 12 wks & daughter at 14wks they both had heartbeats they also thought it could be lupas i.e a blood clotting disorder or antipholosiphil syndrome another blood clotting disorder, cause they can form blood clots in the placenta but this was not the case but they still put me on the asprin & clexane when i was carrying my daughter but it never helped.

However i had some tests done for natural killer cells which are immune white cells that attack the embryo or placenta starving your baby from oxygen. Basically what happens everyone has natural killer cells to fight infection i.e colds etc, but some have stronger immune systems than others & while some peoples immune systems can identify a embryo other peoples immune cells wont identify the embryo or fetus & see it as a foreighn object.

They Eat away at the placenta till the pregnancy is destroyed, some people have very early losses where the natural killer cells will attack the embryo onec it implants where as my immune system lets the early stages of pregnancy take place untill the placenta takes over then it cancels my pregnancys out starving my babies from oxygen I have to have steriods & a intralipid infusion when next pregnant also still have clexane.

Sorry about your losses hun. Have they said exact what clotting issue you have ?

No they havent sed anything for definate yet they just think its that my blood thickness becuz of the timings of the MMCs and other symptoms that ive had with pregnancy (Very high BP, Headaches, etc)
But wont know for sure what is wrong until all results are back which is just a big waiting game..... but im sure uve had that too.

Aw hun im sorry uve gone thru all that too. Its horrible isnt it.
Makes me angry that some people have babies so easily and then neglect or dont look after them properly or take them for granted. And then there is us....
