I got a fleece pouch type sling today and wore it out! While walking about she seemed to get lower on me! I guessed it was stretching a bit but I started to wonder if it was too low? Do you think it may be too big? I measured from shoulder to opposite hip and everything but when I look at pics of everyone and their slings, everyone else's seem higher?
Heres a pic of her not a great pic just took it a min ago to show you lol! She is awake in this pic but when she is asleep she tucks in more and goes even lower?

And the material covers her face and I have to hold it away? Am I doing it all wrong?! :?

Can no one tell me if its hanging too low? I think I'll just get a smaller size and see if it fells better! :)

Thanks hun! Lola seems fine in it and theres no worries of her falling out or anything but werent expecting it to feel so low haha (Can you tell I never had one with any of my others??) lol

Aw well iv gotta admit i bought a sling at first and flo fitted nice in it but now she can hold her head up herself were using a meitai all the time now, or my wrap, think it just takes trying them all to find which ones suits ya the best, OH loves the sling though, when hes on the comp and can tuck her in it to play his games lol

looks fine to me too, I'm not an expert though.

Thanks ladies!! :)
Lo lo loves her sling and dozes off the minute I put her in it but im going to get a mei tai or wrap for when she is awake or a little older! Shes so nosey already lol!

looks fine to me to. i think you should keep that size as the baby grows it will get tighter as she will'fill' the sling more, i think at about 3 months ted outgrew his pouch. not sure if any other sling wearers will agree it just didnt feel right.. we then moved on to the wrap :) and are still there..

I never felt that pouches were right..My freedom ring sling was great then lil miss outgrew it..: :( I moved over to wraps...which are lovely, but sadly not the easiest things to get a fidgety baby on your back with without help and DH isn't always around to help...and I am currently hammering my meitai... I am going to be getting a lovely custom made one from Maria...and for someone who can make her own thats a big thing... but her quality is fabulous :D and I mean...CUSTOM MADE :cheer: I find it easier to get lil miss on my back with the meitai...whereas the shes really getting a bit heavy to go on my front now.

Thanks for all the replies ladies!! I read that the bottom of the sling should be around my belly button and its if lower then its too big! Well after walking about in it the other day she was banging my legs after a while so definitely too big for now! Im going to get another smaller one and keep that one for when shes bigger as you said Lisa&Alex! :D
Squiglet Im going to get one of them myself at some point in the new year! :cheer: I keep looking at her website! They look lovely!
