Ah... sorry for asking this, but I'm curious...

I see people often report a "creamy CM" in their list of symptoms

I was curious how they are finding this out... is it by some internal prodding (in which case, 'nuff said), or are they examining underwear,... or some other way?

It depends how much they have, some women do the internal check which must be done with clean hands/fingers and v. gently. Some women get it in their undies and some can feel it externally. :)

No problem. I've read before that you shouldn't panic if you can't find or feel any CM because it's supposed to be around the cervix, doing its job so if you feel like you don't have it running down your legs(!) don't panic! Every woman is different and produces different amounts. :)

Hope that helps. Oh and it varies from cycle to cycle, you may get one cycle with load of differing CM and another with hardly any CM.
