Sleepsuits v Pyjamas

Hiya

Evie usually sleeps in a sleepsuit with a 1tog sleeping bag. But I'm thinking of putting her in pyjamas because her feet are too big for the suits

What does your LO wear??? Does anyone use pyjamas and a sleeping bag???

we've got a selection of nightwear including pyjamas & sleepsuits; my favourites are romper suits though - no feet to cramp his lil toes (i put socks on him if its really cold) and they keep him covered up. i find that his pj tops ride up and get twisted when he fidgets in his sleep.

Weve got quite the selection too but pajams tops ride up when shes sleeping and when i pick her up i end up pulling them up to her armpits n giving her a draughty back ! Got some nice fleecy rompers without feet and some socks tucker in, and sleepsuits that are too big, she get6s verrrry frustrated when she cant stretch her legs out, and her feet are constantly coming out of the little foot bit in them !!

Thats the problem I have... if I get sleepsuits that fit her body size her feet are too big to fit in the foot bit. If I get sleepsuits that are too big for her body size but fit her feet she ends up pulling her legs out of the leg bits and gets all tangled up!

I might try the romper suit idea though

We use sleepsuits. I tried pyjamas but like me and her dad she gets really cold feet.

I prefer pyjamas,you can get the with in built feet, or i put socks on her

Sleepsuits here. She's tall so getting them to fit is a total pain but like purple13 I don't like how jammie tops can ride up. I usually just buy sleepsuits from Next as I find they are the most generous size wise.

'We have both here too but i do like prefer sleepsuits but dd wears a vest underneath.

I've used them in the past, in the 3-6 month stage. Galen was fine in them and as it was summer we didn't bother with anything on his feet. If we did the same now I'd put a pair of bedsocks on to help keep his feet warm during the colder nights.

I usually get Next sleepsuits as they are a bigger fit all over and have bigger feet too. Galen is a big baby and they are always the ones he manages to get the longest amount of wear out of.

ds went into pyjamas at about 7 months, but still had sleepsuits until around his birthday. I just love the brushed cotton button up PJs so he mostly has them. Adorable!

He was in a sleeping bag until about 3 or 4 months ago then has had a duvet ever since.

Imogen wont sleep in a gro bag anymore i put a mix of pjs and sleep suits on but i prefer the pjs. Much easier then fighting with her to so up the snaps on sleep suits!

We use fluffy sleepsuits.. or plain sleepsuits. Can't really use sleeping bags because lil miss nearly kills herself trying to stand up in them at night when she wakes up. And we don't have central heating so we need something as she pulls her socks off

We use pyjamas and have done since 6 months old. It's just a preference and my lo doesn't seem to mind. xxx

We also have some rompersuits (called sleepsuits on the site we got them from). Don't use them as often but they are nice

At the moment I am loving the fleece sleepsuits from Primark £3... I thought itd be a bit too warm but they're just right.

Failing that, pajamas. I got him some fleecy jogging trousers tho so he wears those with long pajama tops instead of the cotton trousers.

I was just talking to my friend about this earlier - Dylan has been in pyjamas since he was about 3 months because I found that his feet didn't have much room to move in the sleepsuits and I have a thing about feet I ended up cutting the feet out the sleepsuits I had when he was younger and it wasn't a good look so I thought pjs were the best way to go. He did used to sleep in Grobags but we don't really use them any more

Willow wears Pjs with a vest underneath and socks , shes not in a grow bag though she is under a duvet now.

i prefer sleepsuits because he gets cold feet in pj's and end up taking the socks off if you put them on
